China Glass 2026: A Major Glass Industry Event Kicks Off in Shanghai

April 16, 2026 – The global glass industry gathered in East China as the highly anticipated CHINA SHANGHAI GLASS FAIR – officially the 35th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition (China Glass 2026) – opened from April 7 to 10, 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
A Landmark 40th Anniversary Edition
Themed “Intelligent Manufacturing, New Glass, Empowering a New Future · Ushering in the 40th Anniversary,” this year’s fair celebrated four decades of industry advancement. Spanning 90,000 square meters across seven halls (N1–N5, W4–W5), the event brought together 889 exhibitors from 31 countries and regions – including 697 domestic and 192 international participants. Professional attendance was expected to exceed 100,000 visitors.

Key domestic players such as North Glass, Triumph Group, China Building Materials Academy, Xinyi Glass, and Jinjing Group showcased their latest innovations. International giants including Lisec, Grenzebach, and Zeiss also exhibited, alongside prominent national pavilions from Italy and Germany, presenting cutting-edge glass processing machinery and systems.
